One of the key roles that BirdLife plays within Europe is to influence the development and implementation of EU Community policy and legislation, at both national level and across the EU as a whole.

To join forces, BirdLife Partners from across the EU have establised a number of working groups in which they exchange information and experience, develop policy positions and coordinate advocacy activities.

  • Agriculture Policy Task Force
  • Birds and Habitats Directives Task Force
  • Forest Task Force
  • Regional Policy Task Force
  • European Climate Change Coordination Group
